We are getting ready for the Pack Expo show. Usually this means polishing up our newest high speed overwrapper and getting it ready to ship. Unfortunately this year our customers could not wait and our latest FA-ST overwrapping machine shipped two weeks ago. So we are polishing up our DVDs and videos of our overwrappers and getting those ready to play.

We were planning to bring our newest invention – a semi-automatic diefold wrapper for candy and baked goods. Those same customers who wanted their machine in early September did not give us the time to finish our machine, so we are coming with samples of the products it will wrap but not a complete machine.

It is much more fun to go to a trade show with the latest and greatest, so we are a little disappointed that we cannot bring our new invention. Here is a picture of what the wrap will look like.  This wrap is suitable for such items as candy or granola bars, or items supported by a piece of cardboard like a Reese’s Peanutbutter Cup (Yes, those are done on Package®  DF machines), or possibly something odd shaped like muffins or sandwiches.

So we will talk about our new machine, the TTDF semi-automatic diefold wrapper and about the curious items that our machines sometimes wrap and hope that you find them as interesting as we do.
